Escape the city and kick off your summer with an unforgettable long weekend in the crystal-clear waters of Ponza and Palmarola. Join our mini flotilla for an experience that blends relaxation, adventure, and new friendships, sailing through the most spectacular bays of the Pontine Islands. From night sailing under the stars to diving at Cala Brigantina and the Faraglioni di Lucia Rosa, every moment is designed to let you experience the sea at its finest, between sunset aperitifs at the Terrazze di Chiaia di Luna and evenings in the island’s typical local spots.

Whether you want to relax in the sun or test yourself with sailing maneuvers, professional skippers will be on hand to guide you and reveal the secrets of these magical islands. Life on board and tender excursions will allow you to reach hidden corners and enjoy a unique group experience, fully embracing the Different Sailing spirit and our motto: Have Fun Sailing.

How is our June 2nd Long Weekend organized?

The journey begins on Friday evening with galley organization and a suggestive night sail, allowing you to wake up directly among the turquoise waters of Palmarola. The program alternates moments of pure relaxation at anchor with social time ashore and fun among the boats of the flotilla.

Full Itinerary

The plan is to leave the city in the rearview mirror by Friday afternoon. After settling the galley (provisions) in Nettuno, we’ll set sail for a suggestive night sail under the stars—a journey that rewards us with a magical wake-up call amidst the incredible colors of Palmarola.

From there, we’ll head to Ponza to soak up the best of the archipelago, from the Lucia Rosa Sea Stacks to the iconic sunset aperitivos at Chiaia di Luna.

It’s going to be a weekend of total freedom and new friendships. We’ll wrap it up in style with one last dip in the wildest bays before heading back to port on Monday afternoon, with our batteries fully recharged.

    Boarding: Friday, May 29th from 5:00 PM Marina di Nettuno.

    Disembarkation: Tuesday, June 2nd by 6:00 PM at Marina di Nettuno.

  • Into the Night

    Friday

    Boarding at Marina di Nettuno from 5:00 PM. After meeting the crew and settling the galley (provisions), we’ll set sail toward Palmarola. Enjoy a suggestive night sail under the stars before dropping anchor for our first night at sea.

  • Sunsets & Dancing

    Saturday

    Enjoy breakfast together and a morning dip in the stunning waters of Palmarola. We’ll then sail toward Ponza—where anyone interested can learn sailing maneuvers, knots, and rigging names. After a day of snorkeling and dinghy excursions, we’ll head to the port. The evening highlights? A sunset aperitivo at the iconic Terrazze di Chiaia di Luna, followed by a night of dancing and exploring Ponza’s charming nightlife.

  • The Magic of Ventotene

    Sunday

    We’ll set our course for Ventotene, practicing our sailing skills along the way. Our destination is the breathtaking Parata Grande for swimming and snorkeling. We’ll moor in the island’s historic Roman harbor to spend the evening together, soaking up the timeless atmosphere of the village.

  • Bays & Starry Nights

    Monday

    A quick morning swim before heading back to Ponza to dive into the world-famous Chiaia di Luna. We’ll hop between bays for more swimming and a big crew lunch. For our final night, we’ll raft the boats together (a “pacchetto”) for a legendary evening of music and stargazing in a quiet cove.

  • The Grand Finale

    Tuesday

    Our final morning takes us back to Palmarola for dinghy excursions to the spectacular Mezzogiorno Sea Stacks and the turquoise waters of Cala Francese. After one last lunch at anchor, we’ll head back to Nettuno, with disembarkation scheduled by 6:00 PM.

    • Certified Sailing Boats: Fully equipped with safety certifications and compliant for professional/commercial use.
    • Professional Skipper / Instructor: Expert guidance throughout the trip.
    • On-board Accommodation: Your cabin for the entire duration.
    • Insurance Coverage: Third-party liability (RCT) and individual accident insurance.
    • UISP Membership Card: Official association membership included.
  • NOT included
    • Meals & Drinks: On board and ashore.
    • Transfers: To/from the boarding port.
    • Fuel: Calculated at 6 L/h, to be shared among all participants.
    • Mooring & Marina Fees: Costs for stays in harbors or private marinas.
    • Final Cleaning: €150 per boat (to be shared).
    • Buoys & Piers: Fees for mooring at buoys or private floating docks.
    • Local Entry Fees: Ponza & Palmarola "stationing ticket" (€30 per boat).
    • Security Deposit: Refundable deposit and optional damage waiver (deposit reduction).
    • On-site Parking: €15 per day. We require at least one reserved spot per boat to facilitate loading/unloading of luggage and provisions. If no one reserves a spot personally, the cost will be shared among the crew, and the spot will be assigned by draw.
    • Estimated Extra Costs: Based on our experience, expect additional expenses of approximately €50–€80 per person for the weekend.

How to get here

Parking is available at the marina. Please check availability and current rates with the facility. Our Recommendation: We suggest booking one parking spot per boat inside the marina at a cost of €15 per day. This cost will be shared among all participants on your boat.

    Life on board is a team effort: we rely on everyone’s collaboration, from taking care of your personal space to keeping equipment and common areas tidy.

    How to reach Nettuno?

    Nettuno is easily accessible from Rome:

    • By Train: The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. The marina is located just 300 meters from the train station.

    • By Car: From Rome, take the Pontina (SS148) highway.

    Parking Options: Inside the port, there is a private gated (unattended) parking area available for €15 per day (approx. €30 for the weekend). Alternatively, you can find free parking (white lines) just outside the marina. It is a safe area, and our guests have never experienced any issues.

    2. La prenotazione può essere rifiutata dal provider entro 5gg dalla prenotazione, come da termini e condizioni. In quel caso riceverai il rimborso integrale di quanto versato.
